The Weaver-Ike

Ike, together with her husband is the 10th-generation owner of the magical weaving shop in Indonesia’s tropical rainforest. She is a kindhearted lady who will listen to every customer’s story. No one can match her weaving technique and abilities. In this workshop, she weaves a beautiful batik tapestry.

The design of Ike was inspired by West Java culture. The batik in her design is called Mega Mendung which is native to Cirebon city in West Java province. It has a meaning of an expression to describe the greatness of nature or the freedom of the wider world.
